We are pleased to announce the results of the election recently conducted to fill vacancies on the APCO Canada Board of Directors.
Robert Stewart, Director of Emergency Communications with the City of Brandon, has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors as Vice President;
Joel McDonald, Operations Manager for the Lethbridge Public Safety Communications Center (PSCC), has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors;
Ronald Williscroft, City of Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service Communications Branch, has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors.
Robert will serve as Vice President effective November 7, 2019 and move to President effective October 9, 2020.
Joel and Ron will each serve two-year terms, effective November 7, 2019 running through to our AGM in November 2021. We extend our renewed thanks to outgoing representative Theresa Virgin (Ontario). We also remain grateful to Andrew Orchard and Theresa Virgin for their candidacies and to the several other members who participated in the nomination process.
The leadership needs of our association are ongoing and so the contributions of all APCO Canada members, continue to be greatly valued. Remember, Your Voice Counts!
